What is the Difference Between White Cake and Vanilla Cake?

When it comes to making cake, it can be difficult to see the difference between vanilla (or yellow) cake and white cake. In fact, both recipes contain a similar list of ingredients.

The only difference between the two recipes is the eggs! While vanilla or yellow cake is made with whole eggs, white cake is made with only the egg whites.
